Reviews
(1-25 of 58)Solid and affordable product, especially for remote access to computers, but just pack as much punch as a lot of its competitors
- Super easy remote control of computer for authorized individuals
- Easy to join and share screens/information
- Trusted, secure
- Has become somewhat niche since Zoom and other applications can now provide similar built-in support
- Single/primary use makes it somewhat irrelevant in current space
- Limitations as far as types of conference interactions and video support
Join.me who? Not a bad way to go.
- Easy to use
- Reliable, never had an issue.
- Easy to remember URL, easy to share.
- Pricing. Not as competitive as others for smaller organizations with smaller meetings.
- Not as well known as some other apps.
Join.me: the creme of the crop
- Screen sharing
- Internet calling
- Unlimited audio with international conference lines.
- Easy interface
- I would like them to bring back hosting free. Some clients of mine would love this.
Join.Me Positive Review
- Ability to call in via phone or VOIP
- Ability to share screens
- Ability to record meetings
- Ability to include international dial-in numbers
- Join.me could add additional countries of coverage for their local dial-in numbers (like Egypt, UAE, and other middle-eastern countries).
- Join.me could create the ability to export the attendee list in 1 click.
- With Join.me starting and ending virtual meetings is easy.
- The quality of video and audio is amazing.
- Join.me supports many participants during an web conferencing session.
- Some times Join.me lags more so when the internet is poor.
- The user interface is lacking - it could better.
- The tool is not the most affordable.
One scenario where Join.me is not appropriate is when some participants are based in areas with poor internet coverage because the software lags and this can be annoying.
- Easily shareable URL for clients and coworkers.
- Easy screensharing desktop app.
- Host of call had to install the desktop app in order to use, not always convenient.
- Screen sharing
- Remote computer control from anywhere
- Easy to install and get up and running
- Certain features can be a little hard to find
- Not the best user interface compared to some of the more expansive competitors
Great tool, but not the best out there
- Join.me makes it easy to join meetings quickly
- Join.me makes it easy to set up different accounts
- Join.me has features that makes it easy to engage and focus on the content being presented
- The video quality can be improved
- Adding more engagement features like Zoom
- Can be better at key integrations like with SalesForce
Join.me has been good
- It hosts meetings really well with out being overly complicated
- The install process was simple not too many questions
- It seemed to work the first time with any errors.
- I wish the pricing was more competitive with similar programs
- I wish it worked on the Amazon platform it would be helpful for tablet users
- I wish it had a plugin for Safari
Great Solution for IT!
- Desktop sharing.
- Desktop control sharing.
- Ease of use.
- Never had an issue.
Join.Me - would have, could have, should have
- The platform is visually appealing
- Connection is stable most of the time
- The content sharing feature can be sharpened up a lot to make it more reliable
- An option to combine users who are using their computer video and a phone for audio would also create less confusion on larger calls
Intuitive platform for online meetings
- It doesn't allow you to double book your meetings
- Recording the meetings and sending out the files to the participants
- Seamless screen sharing/remote controlling
- Glitchy at times
- Long loading/buffering times despite having a good connection
Join.me - A Video Conferencing Tool For The Rest of Us
- No need to download anything to get started. Once you sign up you can get started from within your browser. This is probably the single best feature, its a get up and go solution for video conferencing and you do not need any software for it to work.
- The one click join a meeting URL is genius. Users who struggle with remembering passwords or invites can just click a link and immediately participate in a meeting which means one email and a couple of clicks and a meeting can start.
- Good control features - As the main user, you have many control features including deciding who can speak, annotations, screen sharing easily.
- Screen Recordings to the Cloud - This can save on time when you have had a long conference, you can save a recording to the cloud and download it later.
- There is no free tier version beyond a free trial. It would be good if there was a free version of some sort.
- If you have a large meeting, it can be a bit unstable, whether this is connectivity or the platform itself is hard to say.
- Mobile Apps do not offer the same experience as the web experience, you can find yourself kicked out of a meeting while other participants may still be in the same meeting. Some synergy between the web and mobile apps would be great.
A Meeting You Won’t Mind Joining
- Screen sharing works very well and especially in today’s climate can help make meetings far more effective.
- I’ve used other platforms like Microsoft Teams that have been incredibly difficult to reliably connect to calls or stay connected. Join.Me has always been stable when in use and very rarely has any hiccups in connecting which is extremely important when conference calls are the only way to communicate.
- The UI is intuitive and user-friendly. It is extremely easy for a new user to pick up and use effectively quickly. I’ve used other platforms where some features are not apparent and you may completely miss, while Join.Me’s UI is easy to navigate and learn quickly.
- Great recording feature which I used for creating product demos that could be shared with our clients so they can see a prospect's question and reactions to different features of the software I am demoing.
- In my experience when using the mobile app the quality drops when on cellular data, even with a strong signal. Given the current challenges, teams Face ID like to see the mobile capabilities get some improvement as it doesn’t seem to be optimized when not on a PC or wireless network.
Hey, look what I'm doing!
- Very clear visual engagement.
- Smooth transition of sharing control among users.
- Audio controls -- we prefer to use phones for voice contact during screen sharing.
Join me in a meeting any time, anywhere
- Easy to get potential clients on the demonstration from their site.
- User-friendly platform.
- Customized emails to send over to people with calendar invites attached as well.
- Lag time - I understand it depends on the internet access by both parties but either way can be extremely frustrating.
- Recording a demonstration could be easier.
Join.me is a great addition to our Training team
The business problems it addresses is clarity in meetings and training because we all get the same information at the same time.
- The Join.me app is user-friendly.
- The Join.me app is intuitive, an example is navigating from assigning someone to take command of the screen is just a click and to retrieve control back is also just a click.
- The connectivity and setting up meetings is practically done for you...copy and paste the link in an email for the fellow participants to join and connect.
- I don't have any input on this. I've been happy with everything thus far.
Join.me is a great solution for meetings
- Easy to connect.
- Screen sharing.
- The quality of the connection is lacking.
Janky Wi-Fi and crappy mobile? Join.me's got you, fam
- Screen sharing.
- Global toll-free telephony.
- Product integration.
- There are no shortcomings in this product, at least for our team. It's a perfect fit. I don't have to think about it. It's a perfect fit. I don't have to think about it.
Join.me in not resigning your join.me account
- Join.me offers several dial-in locations.
- Join.me screen sharing allows you to transfer the presenter role.
- Join.me is easy to schedule and the Chrome extension is great if you are the only one using the account.
- The only way to pass the presenter role is for all parties to have the join.me app downloaded. That isn't always very realistic.
- I have had several calls where the sound quality is not very good and the call will randomly end.
- If you have several people logging into the same account (which you probably shouldn't) then the Chrome extension is a terrible idea. I have experienced double-booked meetings before.
LOVE IT
- Never lags
- Easy to use
- Easy to join
- Honestly, haven't came across any cons
Doesn't require attendees to download a plugin, so makes starting meetings faster and easier
- Most importantly, it's very quick and easy for companies to join. You have a custom URL and you just tell them to go there and follow the directions.
- They do NOT have to download a plugin to see your screen, which makes things a LOT easier. They only have to download the plugin if you want to have them share their screen or give them mouse control.
- It loads pretty quickly and has a lot of local numbers, typically the directions are clear and clients don't have trouble joining.
- Occasionally I have clients who have difficulty joining, I think it may be due to a technical glitch so I'm looking into that.
- As with any screen sharing, sometimes the image lags a lot if either party has a slow internet connection.
Have you tried Join.me for your meetings?
- They offer a free trial version for you to try before you even decide if it's right for you. But they also have 3 great packages to believe in. We are using the Pro Version, which is right in the middle.
- You can host video conferences and record them for team members that couldn't make the meeting.
- We can instantly have reports converted to Excel.
- Honestly, There is nothing I can say negative at the moment. I actually forgot to mention they also have an option for Toll-free calling. You would have to have the OpenVoice before you use it to connect, but it is available if needed.
Since using Join.me, we even have convenient, in-app reminders of scheduled upcoming meetings. I would recommend this to small businesses, which is what we are, but it is also perfect for larger groups.
Join.me Review
- It's easy to find the link to join and number to dial. Unlike some screen shares that are impossible to get in to.
- I have a lot of issues when people join. Sometimes it takes 15 min for people to get in and that takes up a lot of time in our meetings.
Join.me packs the bang in the buck.
- Users don't need to install software to join a meeting. This is a tremendous asset. We are able to just send a link to a customer and they can click to join.
- Join.me can record a video of the meeting.
- Excellent control over the group. You mute individuals or the whole group and share the presenter role quickly.
- Lags *IF* the guest has a poor internet connection and you are doing audio + screen share through the computer. If you do audio via the phone then it's not an issue. By "lag" I meant that when you show a slide, the guest may be seeing the prior slide for a few seconds.
- Lags when you have a large audience. Once I ran a webinar with 200+ people join and once I got past 75 guests people were not able to connect to me anymore.
